GLOBAL  IMPACT  STUDIES

If you find the truth, will you believe it?

If any man desires to do God's will, he will have the needed illumination to recognize, and can tell for himself whether the teaching is from God or whether I am speaking from myself and on my own accord.  John 7:17

The House That Solomon Built

“And the house [The Temple that Solomon built for the worship of Yahuwah Elohim Almighty.] when it was in building, was built of stone made ready before it was brought thither:  so that there was neither hammer nor axe nor any tool of iron heard in the house, while it was in building” (1 Kings 6:7).

In the building of the Temple, all the stones, some of which were of tremendous size, were completely cut and finished at the quarry before they were ever brought to the building site.  The cutting out of the quarry, the chiseling, shaping, squaring and polishing was all finished at the quarry before being transported to the building site.

Just stop and think of that folks.  Not a sound was heard at the building site in order to get that stone to fit with the others that had also been prepared at the quarry.  I do not think we can imagine what a task that must have been back then approximately 3,000 years ago.  They did not have the modern tools we have today in order to accomplish that work.

What lesson does this story teach us?  Peter tells us this found in 1 Peter 2:5:  "You also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house."  Will the work of hewing, chiseling, squaring and polishing of our characters be accomplished before we are fitted for heaven?  Or do you think Elohim will take us to heaven just as we are with all the defects of character remaining to corrupt the atmosphere of heaven?

“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of Yahuwah, are changed into the same image from glory unto glory, even as by the Spirit of Yahuwah” (2 Corinthians 3:18).  Some do not believe we need to be changed, and Elohim accepts us just like we are.  Yes, He does accept us just as we are, but it is not His intention that we should remain as such.  We are to be changed from sinners into saints, “even as by the Spirit of Yahuwah."

Many profess faith in Elohim.  But how big is your faith?  In Matthew 9:29 we find these words:  “According to your faith be it unto you."  We read in the Bible some pretty amazing things that Elohim has done in the past.  What does the reading of those things do for your faith?  When you read how He spoke the Universe into existence what does that say to you?  How He opened the Red Sea and the children of Israel walked through on dry ground?  We could go on and on, couldn’t we?

But when it comes to your faith in your own life, does that faith in that same Elohim take hold and allow Elohim to do for you miraculous changes?  To change you into the likeness of Elohim?  To have a character reflective of His perfect character?  Think about what 2 Corinthians 3:18 is saying to you personally.

If Elohim can enable the men in that stone quarry to hew, chisel, square and polish those massive blocks of stone, can He not change you into His Own likeness through His Spirit dwelling in you?  “According to your faith be it unto you.”  He only needs our permission to accomplish the task for there is nothing impossible with Elohim!   Luke 1:37.
