GLOBAL  IMPACT  STUDIES

If you find the truth, will you believe it?

If any man desires to do God's will, he will have the needed illumination to recognize, and can tell for himself whether the teaching is from God or whether I am speaking from myself and on my own accord.  John 7:17

The Book Sealed With Seven Seals

“And I saw in the right hand of Him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals” (Rev. 5:1).  Most people who follow what is pictured in Revelation chapters four through six watch the seals of the book being removed and the events that transpire when each seal is removed without ever wondering what is in this book sealed with seven seals.  When was this book written, and what is contained within it?  As interesting as it is to understand what is taking place as the seven seals are being removed, we miss a couple of extremely important points when we do not enquire as to the contents of what is in this book and when this book was written.

In the distant past, when books were not yet being written, and documents were sent from one man to another in scrolls, the scrolls would be sealed with a seal.  By putting a seal on the scroll, the person receiving the scroll was assured the contents had not been tampered with.  This book is sealed with seven seals and has not been tampered with since it was written.

In Revelation 8:1, we are told the seventh and final seal is removed, and when that happens, there will be “silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.”  The sixth seal was the return of Yahushua, and He takes the redeemed to heaven.  Revelation 8:1 should be Revelation 7:18.  The translators put this verse in the wrong chapter, and the seventh seal is removed in the presence of the “great multitude” (Rev. 7:9) in heaven.

So what would cause “silence in heaven [for] about the space of half an hour” once the seventh seal is removed?  When the seventh and final seal is removed, the book can then be opened, and when all see what is contained in that book, people will be at a loss to know what to say.

When was this book written, and what is contained in this book now sealed with only four seals remaining to be removed?  Psalm 139:16 tells us what is written in this book.  “Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in Thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them” (emphasis added).

It is a little clearer in the Amplified Version.  “Your eyes saw my unformed substance, and in Your book all the days [of my life] were written before ever they took shape, when as yet there was none of them” (emphasis added).

Before Yahuwah Elohim and Yahushua created the Universe, Elohim wrote what is found in this book and sealed it with seven seals.  It contains every detail of the life of every redeemed individual from the earth.  Elohim knows the end from the beginning.  “Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure” (Isa. 46:10, emphasis added).

Elohim sealed that book with seven seals, and it has been in plain sight of all the inhabitants of heaven for all these eons of time, waiting to be opened and to show forth the glory and awesomeness of Yahuwah Elohim Almighty!  It has not been tampered with or altered in any manner since it was written.

In Isaiah 41:22-23, we read, “Let them bring them forth, and show us what shall happen . . . or declare us things for to come.  Show the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that you are gods” (emphasis added).  Yahuwah Elohim challenged the would-be pretenders to His position to show the future, which only He could do.

“To whom then will you liken Me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One” (Isa. 41:25).  Only Yahuwah Elohim knows the future.  Only Elohim knew what would take place before He ever created the Universe.  He has perfect and complete “foreknowledge.”  “Elect according to the foreknowledge of Elohim the Father” (1 Pet. 1:2, emphasis added).  Elohim knew about everything that would ever take place.  He never predestined anything to be what it was or what it is to be!  His prophecies foretell the future.  They are not predictions of what might happen.  The prophecies are certain to take place just as foretold unless there are conditions connected to them.

“To whom then will you liken Me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One” (Isa. 41:25).  There is no one like our Yahuwah Elohim, Who is our heavenly Father!  HalleluYah!  Elohim knew what could happen and what would happen, but He did not ordain that it should happen the way that it has!
